First off, there is a ton of reasons why these trucks are gnarly:
- The Theeve CSX V3 is a considerably low price, making these the perfect price points trucks.
- They come with medium bones bushings, for no extra cost. Yup, bones bushings are the stock bushings on these trucks, thats pretty sweet if you ask me.
- The CSX V3's uses Theeve True Turn Technology for smoother turning with a quick reaction time.
- They have a steel axle, and a steel kingpin thats strong and makes them last.
- The hanger and baseplate are made out of an titanium/alloy blend, that makes the truck lighter, while maintaining the strength of any other truck.
- They grind pretty smooth on metal and concrete.
- The CSX V3 comes in a variety of designs and colors, making it one of the most beautiful trucks around.
Obviously these trucks have a lot going for it, especially when you consider that the Theeve CSX V3 is Theeve's standard/low end model. Honestly i didn't find much that was wrong with these trucks. The only thing that bothered me when riding these was that the axles became unthreatened very easy, which made the axle bolts hard to tighten or loosen.
Ratings:
Price: 9/10, for everything you get, it is hard to beat that low price tag.
Performance: 7.5/10, the truck performs great, with exclusive features and only a few minor issues.
Design: 9/10, the CSX V3 is one of the greatest looking trucks around, with a nice simple and sleek look.
Overall Rating: 8.5/10
With a strong overall rating like this, the Theeve CSX V3 will be a hard truck to beat. The best truck ever? No. But its definitley one of my favorites. If your looking for a high performance truck that is somewhat cheap, the Theeve CSX V3 is for you!
